Most standard coffee mugs hold between 8 and 12 fluid ounces. The most common everyday sizes are 11 and 12 oz, and anything from 15 oz up counts as a large mug. Below you'll find a mug size chart, the exact dimensions of our mugs and simple tips for choosing the right size.
How many ounces is a standard coffee mug?
A standard coffee mug holds about 10 to 12 oz (roughly 300 to 350 ml). Keep in mind that a "cup" on a coffee maker is usually only 5 to 6 oz, so one mug often holds about two machine cups of coffee.
In practice you won't fill a mug to the brim. An 11 oz mug comfortably holds 9 to 10 oz of coffee with room to carry it without spilling.

How to choose the right mug size
Choose 11 oz if you drink a regular cup
