What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain mugs?

Porcelain is a type of ceramic fired at a higher temperature, which makes it thinner and less porous. A good glaze seals regular ceramic too, so both work well for everyday drinks.

How do I make a ceramic mug last longer?

Avoid sudden temperature shocks, like pouring boiling water into a mug straight from the freezer, and don't use abrasive scrubbers on the print.
