Our mugs
What are your mugs made of?
Glossy ceramic, lead- and BPA-free. Our Black Mug is black ceramic throughout, our Ceramic Mug is white, and our Accent Mug is white with a colored interior and handle.
How are the designs printed?
With dye sublimation. The ink is fused into the coating of the mug and wraps around the outside, so the colors stay vivid and there is no layer to peel or scratch off.
Where are your mugs made?
Every mug is printed to order in the United States. We don't hold printed stock, so each one is made after you order it.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Very closely, but screens vary and shades can differ slightly between print runs. On the Black Mug there is a subtle difference between the black of the ceramic and black areas in a design.
Sizes
Which sizes do you offer?
Every design comes in 11 oz (0.33 l) and 15 oz (0.44 l). Exact height and diameter are listed on each product page.
Which size should I choose?
11 oz is the standard coffee mug size and suits a regular cup of coffee. 15 oz is better for a large coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Our Mug Size Guide compares them side by side.
Care
Are your mugs microwave safe?
Yes, all our mugs are microwave safe.
Are your mugs dishwasher safe?
Yes. For the Black Mug we recommend the top rack. You can also wash any mug by hand with warm water and dish soap.
Will the print fade over time?
No. Because the ink is fused into the coating rather than printed on top, the design won't peel and won't wash off.
Ordering
Can I add a name or my own text?
On products that offer personalization, yes. We print your text exactly as you enter it, so please check the spelling before you order.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Only if it hasn't gone into production yet. Email us as soon as possible with your order number. Once printing has started we can't change or cancel it.
Do you offer a discount code?
Yes. After your first order you can use code TIMELESS20 for 20% off your next order. It can be used once per customer and doesn't work on a first order.
Shipping and delivery
Where do you ship?
To the United States and Canada. Other countries aren't available at the moment.
What does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free on every order to the United States, with no minimum. Rates for Canada are calculated at checkout, so you see them before you pay.
How long will my order take?
Printing usually takes 1 to 3 business days, or 3 to 6 business days for personalized mugs. Delivery within the United States then takes about 4 to 10 business days. For Canada, the estimate is shown with the shipping rate at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for the details.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes, by email as soon as your order ships. Items in one order may be printed at different locations and arrive in separate packages.
Returns and refunds
What if my mug arrives damaged or misprinted?
Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a few clear photos. We'll send a replacement or refund you, and you usually don't need to send anything back.
Can I return a mug if I simply changed my mind?
No. Each mug is printed for you after you order, so we can't accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Our Returns & refunds policy explains exactly what is covered.
